With the air storage tank, the compressed air output of the air compressor has a buffer place, so that the air source can be better maintained at a set value, and the gas system can obtain a constant pressure.

Second, store air. There is no place inside the air compressor where compressed air can be stored. Once compressed air is generated, it must be used. This working mode is not ideal. With the gas storage tank, you can first inject compressed air into the gas storage tank to a certain pressure, then use the pressure to reduce to a certain degree, and then start the compressor again, which can meet the sudden increase in gas consumption of gas equipment, and ensure more stable gas consumption.

Third, energy saving effect. The frequent start and stop of the air compressor will make the current consumption of the motor very large. With the air storage tank, the automatic shutdown of the air compressor can be guaranteed. The air compressor will automatically stop when the air storage tank is full under the set pressure, so as not to waste electric energy by keeping the air compressor running.


Fourth, cooling and filtration. The temperature of compressed air entering the air storage tank is reduced to achieve the effect of preliminary cooling of compressed air

Remember to drain the gas tank

Generally, the outside air is humid, especially in rainy days in the south. The air from the air compressor will contain a lot of water. After the air enters the air storage tank, the air molecules with higher temperature meet the gas storage wall with lower temperature and condense into water. The water falls down the tank wall to the bottom, making a lot of water accumulate in the air storage tank of the air compressor; At the same time, it also reduces the water content in the compressed air discharged from the tank and improves the quality of gas used in the production of the enterprise. Since the water and oil in the compressed air are deposited at the bottom of the compressed air storage tank, if not discharged, the water in the storage tank will be more and more, and the rising water level will cause various problems, so the compressed air storage tank should be regularly discharged.

Special requirements for installing electronic drain valve:


1. The power supply voltage shall be consistent with the voltage of the electronic drain valve.

2. The TEST membrane switch on the timer of the electronic drain valve is a manual test button. The drain valve discharges once every time it is pressed. This button is used to check the drainage condition at any time in daily work

3. The two knobs of the timer are used to adjust the discharge time (how long each discharge is) and the interval between two discharges (how long each discharge is).

4. The small screw on the junction box of the electronic drain valve has the function of tightening the gasket in addition to the connection, so as to prevent water from entering the timer and coil, so it must be tightened.

5. For the air storage tank of high-pressure system, high-pressure electronic drain valve shall be selected.
